I’m Piyush Dhawan, and the idea for WebScratchers didn’t come from a startup incubator or some viral “Eureka” moment; it came from late-night web dives, a tired mind full of ambition, and, believe it or not, a very worn-out pair of Skechers. While walking in circles (literally), I kept stumbling upon brands with great products but websites that looked like they hadn’t left 2010. It frustrated me, not because I was judging, but because I knew they deserved better. That’s when it hit me: what if I built something that helps good brands look great online? That obsession became a vision, and that vision needed a name. So I combined the world I was obsessed with, the web, with the scratched-up Skechers that carried me through every crazy idea. WebScratchers was born. Today, it’s not just a company, it’s a creative powerhouse of thinkers, designers, developers, and dreamers who help brands go from overlooked to unforgettable. We craft digital experiences that aren’t just beautiful, but are also built to convert, scale, and drive results. And yes, I’m still wearing Skechers.
